Inky Updates
Well, it has definitely been a hot minute(s) since I have been able to post lately. The start of a new school year always brings my most busiest season! Busy means I can never find boredom—but I am finally finding a decent balance with everything going on in my life.

📚 Little Thoughts Press-Submission Reader 📚
After being published myself by this wonderful magazine, I am ✨ THRILLED ✨ to now be working as part of the team as a Submission Reader!
We recently concluded making selections for our current issue: Better Together!
We were thrilled with the amount of submissions we received. Getting to read so many incredible stories truly warmed my heart.
Our next Issue #11 will be: Head, Shoulders, Spleen and Nose…a deep dive into the Human Body.
The submission window will be from November 11th-December 31st.

As I prepare for the launch of my Chapter Book series early next year, I will begin showcasing the incredible animal that will be featured in book one—
Library Guardians: The Arboreal Dragons of Indonesia
Allow me to introduce the amazingly unique Draco volans; a species of lizard endemic to Southeast Asia. These little guys are flying lizards…meaning YES…they are…DRAGONS!
Despite their “Dragon” status, they do not breathe fire and as they are not poisonous, they are harmless to humans. Dracos are not venomous either, though many believe they’re dangerous—which actually helps protect the species from poaching.
