Inky Updates

✏️ Editing ✨ MAGIC ✨ is fully underway for Book 1 of my Library Guardian series. I love taking the time to fully flesh out scenes just a bit more, to really make them shine!

✏️ I am flexing my writing muscles by gearing up to participate in the first ever #KidLitChuckleChallenge, run by these amazing ladies: April Berry, Julie Hauswirth and Kris DeCaro.

Monthly Writing Tip 📝

Is anyone else as OBSESSED with journals as I am? I am constantly seeing them at the store and thinking…OOOOO. I NEED this…when truly, I have a large stockpile of journals just waiting to be filled.

I just can’t help it, journals are so FUN and PRACTICAL! ☺️

I have a journal for EVERY book I work on, as well as a journal I designate as my “AUTHOR BIBLE” every year.

It helps me keep track of:

✔️ First Draft Friday notes

✔️ Contests

✔️ and MORE!

I personalize each notebook with cute stickers (ahem…my other big OBSESSION) which just flat out makes my soul happy.
